  • The Dubai desert is filled with exciting opportunities for guests to marvel at the exotic scenery and indulge in the culture and traditions the desert has to offer. Guests can choose from adventure-filled safari tours or a drive through the Dubai mountains and valleys to view historical landmarks.

  • Adrenaline-Pumping Dubai Desert Safari Tours

  • For those who may not have too much time but want to experience the thrill of the desert adventure, the morning desert safari is the perfect choice. A car will arrive at the hotel in the morning and drive directly to the desert for the adrenaline-pumping ride of dune bashing. The next stop is at the Bedouin-style camp for a camel ride, sand skiing, and quad biking, and some refreshments. This tour is about two hours and will end with a ride back to Dubai 5 Star Hotel.
  • The Evening desert safari is the most popular tour and is perfect for those who want to spend the whole day in the desert to take in the sights and sounds of the desert. This six-hour expedition begins with an afternoon pickup from the hotel to the desert for dune bashing. It is best to bring a camera to take pictures of the amazing scenery. Next will be a drive to the camp to enjoy a camel ride and a barbeque dinner. Once the festivities end guests will be sent back to their Dubai luxury hotels. Other activities at the camp include:
    • Henna tattoos
    • Wearing traditional Bedouin clothes for photographs
    • Smoking an Arabic water pipe known as ‘Shisha’, or ‘Hubbly Bubbly’
    • Watching belly dancers dance to traditional Arabian music.
  • The overnight desert safari includes all the fun and excitement of the evening safari and more. This desert adventure begins in the afternoon when guests are driven to the desert for dune bashing, then to the camps for a night of activities. Beds will be provided in the Bedouin camps for a sleep under the stars. In the morning, a light breakfast will be provided and departure will begin shortly after.

  • A Night of Feasting and Middle Eastern Entertainment

  • For those who may not favor the dune bashing but still want to enjoy the evening desert scenery, an Arabian dinner in the desert is an excellent option. A car will take you straight to the camp where you will enjoy camel rides, belly dancing, henna tattoos, Arabic coffee, and a buffet and barbecue dinner.
  • Vegetarians can request a special dinner as an alternative to the barbecue and buffet dinner on the evening and overnight safari tours. The safari tour is not recommended for children under the age of three, pregnant women, the elderly, or those with heart problems. Dubai vacations offer plenty of other activities of a less adventurous nature such as the Children’s City Dubai, shopping in the traditional Souks, or an afternoon at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

  • Hatta Wadi Safari: A Tour of the Picturesque Mountains and Valleys

  • For another unforgettable time of adventurous sightseeing, the Hatta Wadi Safari Tour will leave guests breathless with its exquisite mountain scenery and blossoming green valleys. Guests will be picked up from their hotel in a four-wheel drive Toyota Land Cruiser through the desert to mountainous area of Dubai known as Hatta.
  • Take advantage of the many photo opportunities this Dubai tour will offer as the car drives through the deep trenches of the valley with great views of the scenic million-year-old mountains. The car will also drive through its natural pools known as the wadis. The next stop is a visit to the Hatta Heritage Village where tourists will get the chance to see the oldest fort built in the 16th Century. Before heading back to your hotel, the last stop will be made at the Hatta Fort Hotel for use of the facilities, a lunch and a swim. The entire tour lasts between six to seven hours.
