  • The Emirates Golf Club has played host to the PGA European Tour, the Dubai Desert Classic and the Dubai Ladies' Masters. It was named "The Desert Miracle" in 1988 when it became the first all-grass championship golf course in the Gulf region. Today this Dubai golf resort has two championship courses, The Majlis and The Wadi by Faldo, along with a 9-hole course, and a golf academy. The Club has activities for non-golfers as well, including four Dubai dining facilities and a recreation area with activities for all ages.

    The Majlis is a challenging 7,301 yard course with a par 72. Its layout is sculptured around the Dubai desert dunes and was the first grass course in the Middle East. The Majlis course is known around the world as a difficult course for even its best golfers.

    The Wadi by Faldo is the Emirates Golf Club's second championship course. It was redesigned by six-time major winner Nick Faldo and opened in 2006. It is a par 73 course and is 7,348 yards long. Faldo's design of tees and bunkers were combined with the natural land of the course which has created a uniquely native Dubai golfing experience.

    The Emirates Golf Club also offers a state-of-the-art gymnasium. Included in the gymnasium are four tennis courts, two squash courts, a swimming pool and a children's pool. Personal trainers, exercise classes and fitness assessments are available for the gym and coaches are available for all of the sports offered at this Dubai resort.
